Niska Tvrdjava 1809

This is one of my favorite peaces i did for the museum. it is a reconstruction of the fortress this city has , with its interior as it should have looked in 2009.. And i it has never been done before .

Most of these buildings are non existent anymore. And the outer walls are very much intact even now (almost 300 year after it was built)

Now one particularly interesting building is the watch tower. Because we had no idea it was even there. So we were like walking around the museum showing the painting to various historians, and then one of them said its awesome , but where is your watch tower?

What watch tower.? And then he pulled out some old drawings dating prior to WWI .. and there really was a watch tower there. So it was back to the board, remove some things,.. and put the tower in .
